Alleged racism at Argyle match reported to police
Plymouth Argyle has reported an allegation of racist behaviour towards a Queens Park Rangers supporter to police.
The club said on X it was made aware of the offence at the match at Home Park on Saturday, which was won 1-0 by Queens Park Rangers.
Argyle condemned the incident and said it "moved quickly" to identify the individual.
It said it had passed on details of a person to Devon and Cornwall Police. The BBC has asked the force for comment.
Argyle said: "Home Park is a place for everyone at the heart of the community and we thank the Green Army for reporting the offence to the club's safety team.
"The investigation is now with police and we await the outcome before further action is taken."
