Teenager arrested after car crashes into wall
A teenage boy has been arrested after a car crashed into a wall in Smethwick.
Two men, 18 and 19, were taken to hospital after the crash at the junction of Booth Street and Anne Road just before 19:30 GMT on Sunday. Their injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The car, a silver Volkswagen Golf, had failed to stop for officers on Anne Road shortly before the crash, West Midlands Police said.
The driver, aged 17, was treated by paramedics before he was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop for officers.
A police spokesperson said the teenager remained in custody while the investigation continued.
