Main route reopens after bus blaze caused closure
A main route through east Kent has reopened after being closed due to a fire on a bus.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) said it was called to the A256 near Eastry just before 09:00 GMT on Friday.
The road was closed in both directions but reopened at 13:20 GMT after the bus was loaded on to a recovery vehicle.
Four fire engines attended the fire which broke out on the double-decker bus.
KFRS added that all passengers were out of the vehicle and no injuries have been reported.
