Dispersal order issued after anti-social behaviour
Police in Derby have imposed a dispersal order in Normanton following reports of anti-social behaviour.
The measures mean officers can order anyone engaging, or reasonably believed to be engaging, in anti-social behaviour to leave the area for a period of up to 48 hours, the force said.
Anyone refusing to comply with the dispersal order by returning to the area within that time could be arrested, officers added.
The order, which is in place until 13:30 GMT on Saturday, comes after "issues with street drinkers in the area as well as nuisance beggars", police said.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Should you see anyone engaging in behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to yourself or others, please report it via 101 or online."
