Two men have been charged in connection with a reported stabbing in Stanwell

Two men have been charged after a reported stabbing in Stanwell, Surrey Police have said.

Both men, aged 20 and 23, of Elizabethan Way, are appearing in Staines Magistrates Court today charged with possession of a bladed article and affray.

The 23-year-old man was also charged with grievous bodily harm after the alleged incident, also in Elizabethan Way, where an 18-year-old man was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Two teenage boys, 15 and 17, and a 51-year-old woman have been bailed pending further inquiries.
