Arson probe launched after fire destroys vehicles

An arson investigation has been launched following a fire involving six vehicles near an industrial unit in Scunthorpe.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said three vehicles were fully destroyed and three were seriously damaged in the blaze on Normanby Road on Sunday night.

Humberside Police is treating the incident as arson, and has urged anyone with CCTV or information to get in touch.

Fire damage to the door of a nearby building was also reported.
