Toilets could be made more accessible under plans
Public toilets in St Helier could be made more accessible for mothers and people with medical conditions if plans are approved.
Property Holdings has put forward proposals to create four cubicles at the Snow Hill toilets that can be used by people of any sex, and a space for baby changing or for people with a stoma.
Plans include storage and cleaning spaces partly created from the lift shaft that used to serve the cable car to Fort Regent.
Designers said they wanted to make a "much-needed" facility more accessible to everyone.
"The proposed scheme is small in scale and seeks to improve a public facility through making it fully inclusive for all members of the community and therefore future proofing the facility," it said.
The planning application is being advertised until 21 January.
