Man hit by car suffers life-altering injuries
A man suffered "life-altering" injuries when he was hit by a car in South Yorkshire, police have said.
Officers were called to Fitzwilliam Road in Rotherham at about 18:20 GMT on Monday after reports a male pedestrian had been struck by a black Mini Paceman which was being driven towards Doncaster, according to police.
The pedestrian, 37, was taken to hospital for treatment, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
Officers appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time and had seen what happened, or anyone with footage of the crash, to get in touch.
