Six arrested in drugs raids in Hull
Six people have been arrested after a series of drug raids in Hull, Humberside Police said.
Officers executed warrants on Saxcourt, Jenthorpe, Endike Lane, Knights Court, Ellerburn Avenue and 14th Avenue on Thursday morning.
The six people arrested in connection with the investigation include two men aged 48 and 22 as well as four women aged 45, 43, 40 and 39.
They have all been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, the force said.
'Great result'
The raids were carried out by officers from Humberside Police's Kinetic Organised Crime Team, Neighbourhood Organised Crime Team and Regional Organised Crime Team in the North Hull area.
Suspected Class A drugs, quantities of cash and mobile phones were recovered from the six properties, police said.
Det Sgt Jack Downs said: "This is a great result which has caused disruption to drug gangs in our force area, and I am pleased to say that once again we have been successful in intercepting organised crime on our streets.
"We know that drugs and the crimes associated with them can have a real impact on communities and that is why tackling these types of offences remains a priority for us."
