Further arrests after Glasgow street disturbance
Two further arrests have been made in connection with a disturbance on a Glasgow street that left three people seriously injured.
A man, 49, and a woman, 48, were taken to hospital after being found on Argyle Street at about 01:10 on Tuesday.
Police Scotland confirmed the injured pair have been arrested for serious assault.
A 76-year-old man, who was found in a property on Blantyre Street, was previously arrested for serious assault.
Officers also said a 48-year-old man, who was initially arrested for robbery, has now been charged with serious assault.
He was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A force spokesperson said officers were remaining in the area to carry out inquiries and asked anyone with further information to come forward.
