Marvel applies for permission to film in Berkshire

Scenes for a new Avengers film could be shot in Berkshire, plans submitted by Marvel to a council reveal.
The film production company has applied for planning permission for a film set in Windsor Great Park.
Plans describe the set as a house with pavement and road markings and say filming is expected to take place over one day in August.
Details of the application were submitted by Marvel-owned company For All Time Productions UK to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
The council has already granted it planning permission for another set nearby.
The set would sit on the Bracknell Forest side of the border with the neighbouring Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

Entertainment news websites say the name For All Time is a phrase associated with Marvel character Loki, and have speculated that the firm was set up as the production company for the coming film Avengers: Doomsday.
Plans included with the application say a house – referred to as Annie Reynolds' house – would be built by Prince Consort's Drive, near the Windsor Great Park Environmental Centre.
Annie Reynolds is the name of a Marvel character whose reported appearance in the film was revealed in a recent leak.
Marvel wants temporary planning permission for 10 weeks between 14 July and 20 September to allow for the set to be constructed and taken down again.
A larger service pad for filming equipment and vehicles would be built over the boundary of the Royal Borough.
A planning statement submitted with the application says that the company has not yet applied to Bracknell Forest Council for planning permission as the larger site lies within the Royal Borough.
However it says that Marvel has sent a copy of its application to Bracknell Forest Council.
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has already granted Marvel temporary planning permission for another set, further west on Duke's Lane.
The plans were submitted to the Royal Borough on 30 May and are pending consideration.
