Man arrested after knife-point shop robbery

A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a shop near Paignton railway station was robbed using a knife.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to Costcutter on Gerston Road at 07:16 GMT on Friday following reports a man with a knife demanding money from the till before leaving the scene with a quantity of cash.
A 30-year-old man was arrested about 40 minutes later at the railway station and was taken into custody, police said.
A knife and a quantity of cash were recovered, police said. No injuries were reported.
