Police seize suitcases full of shampoo and sweets

Thousands of pounds worth of suspected stolen goods, including confectionary and bathroom products, have been seized by police.
Officers said they spotted a large group of people in St John's Street on Sunday when patrolling the Wellington Street car boot sale in Peterborough.
They discovered suitcases filled with a variety of items, including 213 confectionary products, 103 bottles of shampoo and body wash, and 46 boxes of fabric cleaners and softeners.
Two women were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, but no further action was taken against them.
A police spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, no one fancied stopping for a chat and tried to get away, but we managed to retrieve eight suitcases which were filled with approximately £3,500 worth of suspected stolen items.
"The items remain in our possession unless proof of ownership can be provided."
