Man appears in court charged with sexual offences

A man has appeared in court charged with rape, attempted rape and sexual assault.

Leicestershire Police said Ali Huson, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Tuesday.

He was subsequently charged and appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The force said the 35-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Leicester Crown Court on 9 June.
