Final two goats stolen from farm are back home
Two goats that were missing from an animal attraction for about four weeks have been returned home.
Four goats were reported stolen from Kew Little Pigs at Amersham in Buckinghamshire last month, although two were returned just before Christmas.
Their owner Olivia Mikhail said the pair - named Comet and Sunday - were found about 10 miles (16km) away in Farnham Royal.
She said "we are over the moon" and also revealed her farm had installed extra security cameras to help prevent a future incident.
Ms Mikhail explained how a farmer had told people at his local pub about the goats in his field, which meant she was subsequently contacted.
The goats were in a field where the farmer kept pregnant sheep, she said.
She said the farmer was called Gabriel, so "he really is our angel".
Two other goats, Rose and Blitzen, were returned in mid-December after they were found by a member of the public in a field, also in Farnham Royal.
The owner of the land told Kew Little Pigs he had bought them from a man in a van the week before.
Ms Mikhail said: "We are over the moon, we have never given up hoping that the goats would come home, but as the weeks went by it seemed like the chances were more and more remote.
"They are really skinny and tired so will be getting lots of rest, food and pampering.
"We have also had extra security cameras fitted so something like this won't be happening again in a hurry."
She continued: "We would like to thank every single person who shared the appeal.
"It is down to you that the goats are back and safe here with us."
Seven goat were also stolen from Kew Little Pigs in October 2022, but were never found.
Thames Valley Police investigated the most recent thefts and confirmed all four goats were located.
"We would like to thank the public for their help in finding them", a spokesman said.
