Plans have been submitted for the second stage of a major housing development in a Lincolnshire village.

Details of almost 300 homes have been presented for the southern edge of Bracebridge Heath in North Kesteven by Stonebridge Homes and CC Projects.

Permission was originally granted in 2023 for 1,087 homes on Sleaford Road.

The majority of the 287 new homes would be two-storey, with a few bungalows and three-storey builds.

The new estate would be located next to the proposed route of the final stage of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.

Plans show there would be a strip of green space and hedges between the new homes and bypass.

Access to the estate would be created from a new roundabout on Sleaford Road.

The other half of the proposed development has been granted permission for a care home and business space, and would be located off Bloxholm Lane.

The application is currently registered and available for comment on North Kesteven District Council's website, to be determined at a later date.
