Arrest after attack on teenager during beach 'disorder'

A man has been arrested after a teenage boy was attacked during "large-scale disorder" at a seaside town beach.
Officers were called to reports of an attack with a weapon at Teignmouth's Back Beach at about 20:45 BST on Friday, where 50 to 100 teenagers and adults had gathered.
The teenager suffered a minor head injury and has been discharged from hospital, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
A spokesperson for the force added that a man had been arrested on suspicion of affray and was in police custody.
'Don't share footage'
The force has also warned people not to share footage of the incident or any possible names of people involved on social media.
Det Sgt Emma Boobyer said they may be breaking the law if they do so.
"We ask that people do not share this footage, and we need to remind the public that any suspect under the age of 18 is, by law, not allowed to be identified," she said.
"This may be seen as interfering with a live investigation, we therefore remind the public that it is vital that they do not speculate on the identity of any suspects in this case.
"If you do have any information, please report it directly to us."
