A motorcyclist in his 30s has died after a collision with a car.

Essex Police was called to the incident in Southend Road, Wickford, Essex, on Tuesday at 21:00 BST.

Officers closed the road between Hill Avenue and Hawkins Close while the emergency services worked.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
