New witness appeal over crash that killed father and son
Police investigating a road crash in County Down that resulted in the death of a father and son have issued a new appeal for witnesses.
Peter and Loughlin Devlin died at the scene of the two-car collision outside the village of Killylea on 27 December.
On Tuesday, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said they want to speak with the occupants of a white or light coloured Nissan Qashqai SUV or similar vehicle seen travelling toward Killyleagh from the direction of Armagh at about 12:40 GMT on the day of the crash.
They also want to speak with a man and woman who were in a dark-coloured people carrier type vehicle, who stopped at the scene.
"We believe these people have important information that may be able to assist with our enquiries," Insp Cherith Adair said.
Both men died at the scene.
Four others, including a baby, were taken to hospital.
One woman who sustained serious injuries remains in hospital.
Earlier this month, 32-year-old Bulgarian national Ivan Petrov, whose address was given as Newry Road, Armagh, appeared before Newry Magistrates' Court.
He is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, and one count of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving.
