A cordon has been lifted in Leeds city centre after police gave the all-clear following an earlier security alert.
Officers were called to Merrion Way at 14:25 GMT on Monday following reports of a suspicious item.
Road closures were put in place while Army bomb disposal experts assessed the item.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the cordon had been lifted just after 18:00 GMT, saying the force "would like to thank people in Leeds for their patience".
