Man riding Jersey cow 'unacceptable and shocking'
A farmer has said it is "unacceptable and shocking" that someone broke into his farm and attempted to ride one of his cows.
Master Farms in Grouville posted a photo to social media of a man who climbed onto the back of one of its heifers.
It said that May the cow was pregnant and that the vet confirmed she had not been hurt.
Farmer Phil Le Maistre said it was a dangerous thing to do - both for people and for the cows.

He said: "It's just horrible for her unwanted stress caused to an animal and in a more severe case it could have broken her back.
"It's unacceptable that people think it's ok to enter a field of cows and they try and ride them - we can't quite believe it."
Mr Le Maistre added: "We're very lucky I say that the power of the community in Jersey and people start seeing the video online and quickly realise it's pretty just as unacceptable and shocking."
Jersey Police said it was aware of the situation.
