Four teenagers - two girls and two boys - were arrested

Four teenagers have been arrested after a delivery driver was assaulted in York.

North Yorkshire Police said the driver was accosted by a gang of youths in the Hull Road area just after 18:00 BST on Thursday with some of the group entering the van before running off.

Officers said three suspects were arrested within 20 minutes and a fourth was arrested at a house in Tang Hall.

Two boys, aged 14 and 15, and two 14-year-old girls were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They have all been released on bail pending further investigation.
