Police are appealing for information following a suspected arson attack on a car in Cheshire.

Officers said they were called at about 03:15 GMT on Sunday to reports of a fire on Pebble Brook Park in Crewe, where they found a car alight.

The blaze was extinguished by firefighters, and police added that the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.

An investigation has been launched, and anyone with information or CCTV footage should contact Cheshire Police.
