Two men arrested in organised crime investigation
Two men have been arrested in Drogheda in the Republic of Ireland as part of an investigation into organised crime.
The men, aged in their 20s, were detained on Tuesday as part of an investigation into the sale and supply of drugs and associated money laundering, gardaí (Irish police) have said.
Both were taken into custody.
As part of the operation, nine properties were searched in the Drogheda area on Tuesday morning.
Gardaí have said their investigations are ongoing.
