Energy saving advice available to householders
Households in Surrey can now access advice on a range of ways to keep their homes warmer and reduce energy bills.
Surrey County Council has launched a website offering guidance on retrofitting properties with the latest energy efficient technology.
The advice ranges from simple draught proofing to fitting heat pumps.
It also explains what funding and support is available to help with installation.
Cabinet member for the environment Marisa Heath said: "Many people are concerned about the climate crisis and high energy costs and would like to make improvements to their home to reduce their energy usage and their carbon footprint.
"However, many residents are unsure where to start and don't know which measures would suit their particular property or which measures would be most effective."
