Man seriously injured in motorbike crash

A man in his 20s has suffered life-threatening injuries following a motorbike crash.

The single-vehicle collision happened on Devonshire Road, near the junction with Nithsdale Road, in Weston-super-Mare, at about 22:00 BST on Sunday.

Police said the family of the man, who was riding a black Harley Davidson motorbike, had been made aware of the incident.

Avon and Somerset Police said collision investigators examined the scene before the road reopened at about 5:00 BST on Monday.

Witnesses, including those with CCTV or dashcam footage, had been asked to contact police.
