Firefighters tackle Sheffield house blaze

Twenty firefighters are tackling a blaze at a house in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said four appliances and one aerial vehicle had been sent to Rutland Road in the Pitsmoor area of the city.

The road has been closed between Oakham Drive and Cooks Wood Road, with drivers being advised to avoid the area.

People living nearby have been told to keep their doors and windows closed.
