Man charged with murder after woman's death

A 33-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found at her home.

He will appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Leanne Williams, 47, was found by police officers at her house on Gomer Road in Townhill, Swansea, on 27 February.

South Wales Police said a 41-year-old man who was arrested as part of the investigation has been released from custody.

In a statement, the force said a post-mortem examination had been carried out and identified "significant injuries consistent with an assault".
