An investigation has been launched after a man was sexually assaulted in a park in Plymouth, police have said.
The incident is reported to have happened in Devonport Park at about 00:45 GMT on Monday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said reports indicated a man had been sexually assaulted by another man.
Officers have been in the area carrying out inquiries and a scene guard remains in place.
In a statement police said: "It was reported that the victim entered a vehicle and was driven to the park.
"The victim and suspect, who are not known to each other, then exited the vehicle together before the victim was attacked at the park band stand.
"The suspect then left the scene."
The victim was being supported by specially trained officers, the force added.
Police have asked any witnesses, or anybody who may have relevant dash-cam or CCTV footage to get in touch.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man who dropped the victim home following the incident.
