A 32-year-old has been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place

A man believed to have been carrying a knife at a retail park has been charged.

Humberside Police was called to Kingswood Retail Park in Hull at about 16:00 GMT on Sunday.

The force said it had received reports a man was carrying a knife and threatened a member of the public.

Jamie Jones, 32, of Ashworthy Close in Hull, has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear.

He has been released on conditional bail until his appearance at Hull Magistrates' Court on 10 March.
