Van driver dies in hospital after December crash

A man who died one month after a two-vehicle crash in County Tyrone, has been named as Sean McGaughey.

It follows a collision between a car and van on the Drumnakilly Road in Omagh shortly before 20:40 GMT on Sunday 22 December.

Two men were later taken to hospital for treatment.

On Tuesday, police confirmed that 56-year-old Mr McGaughey, who was driving the van, has since died from his injuries.

An investigation is under way and those with information or footage have been asked to contact police.
