A man has died following a motorbike crash on the M60 in Greater Manchester.

The crash happened on the motorway between junctions 24 and 25 near Bredbury in Stockport at about 13:40 BST on Saturday.

A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital but he died from his injuries on Monday, Greater Manchester Police said.

The force is urging any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.

Parts of the motorway were shut for hours on Saturday as crews dealt with the crash and investigation.
