A stolen car has hit a number of parked vehicles, leading to three people being taken to hospital.

Two were seriously hurt in the crash at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Foxhollies Drive in Halesowen, Dudley, during the night, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

The fire service stated four patients in total were inside the moving vehicle and crews removed a side and the roof to free them.

West Midlands Police said two men, aged 20 and 18, along with an 18-year-old-woman, had been arrested on suspicion of burglary and driving offences.

According to the force, an Audi A4 made off from officers at just after 03:50 GMT on Thursday before losing control and crashing.

Two female occupants sustained serious injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening, the ambulance service said.

They were taken to hospital along with a male patient whose injuries were not believed to be serious.

A second man did not require treatment and was discharged by ambulance staff at the scene.

The fire service said three unoccupied parked cars were struck.
