Two Inbetweeners stars are set to reunite on screen, it has been confirmed.

In an exclusive sketch for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day 2025, James Buckley and Joe Thomas, who played Jay and Simon in the Channel 4 coming-of-age comedy, will take on the roles of Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel.

The parody, titled Oasis: The Reunion: The Movie, will chart the brothers' journey from Manchester lads to global rock superstars, with other famous faces also set to appear along the way.

"Huge Oasis fan" James Buckley said getting to be Liam for the day was "a dream come true".

"I had such a fun time with Joe, making this sketch for Comic Relief, and was honoured to be asked to be a part of it," he said.

Joe Thomas said it was "both thrilling a nerve wracking" to take part in the programme.

"I grew up watching Comic Relief and the big sketch was always a highlight of the night," he said.

The show promises drama, sibling showdowns, and unexpected celebrity cameos, wrapped up in a heavy dose of Britpop nostalgia, iconic 90s music moments, and cheeky humour.

The cast will also include Hugh Dennis, Martin Lewis, Micky Flanagan, Vernon Kay, Mark Silcox, Tasha Ghouri, Melvin Odoom, Roisin Conaty, and Piers Morgan, all stepping into memorable roles from the band's legendary rise to stardom.

Red Nose Day 2025 will be shown from 7pm on Friday 21 March on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
