Boy, 16, killed and two hurt in crash with tree

A 16-year-old boy was killed and two teenagers hurt when a car crashed into a tree.
Emergency services were called to Radcliffe Road in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, just before 21:00 GMT on Monday after a black Honda Civic hit the tree.
Police said one of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other teenage boys - one of whom is being treated for a serious leg injury - were also injured.
No other vehicles were involved and an investigation is ongoing.
Det Sgt Paul Clark, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This is a tragic incident that has resulted in the untimely death of a teenage boy.
"As we work to understand what happened, our thoughts today are with his family, his friends and all those who knew him.
"Although we do not currently believe any other cars were involved in what happened, we are appealing for any additional witnesses to come forward."
He said officers were particularly interested to hear from anyone with dashcam footage of the moments before the crash.
