A 60-year-old man has been released and no further action will be taken after he was arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Lincoln.

Police were called to Prial Close in the early hours of Monday to help a 51-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital and later died.

The man was initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, then rearrested on suspicion of murder after the woman died, but he has has now been released.

Lincolnshire Police said a post-mortem examination had revealed the woman's medical issues, and the death was no longer being treated as suspicious.
