Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder after an elderly couple died in a house fire.

Stan and Roma Rickman, aged 91 and 88 respectively, were found dead at the home in Heron Close in Alton, Hampshire, in the early hours of 14 April.

The boys from Bordon and Alton have both been bailed while police inquiries continue.

A 16-year-old Alton boy, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, was also bailed.

Det Supt Danielle Daltrey, who is leading the investigation for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said: "Investigating this incident remains a top priority and we are continuing our work to establish the circumstances."

She added the force was keen to hear from witnesses about anyone "seen behaving suspiciously in the area" between midnight and 05:00 on 14 April.
