Four members of staff at a high school in Cheshire were attacked by a teenage boy, police have said.

Cheshire Police said they were called to Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy, on Barnfield Avenue in Runcorn, at 12:23 GMT on 13 March following reports of a disturbance on school grounds.

The force said its officers found the four members of staff who had been attacked.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was later bailed pending further inquiries.
