Attempted murder arrest following prison attack

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following violence at a city prison.
Cambridgeshire Police officers were called to HMP Peterborough at 08:45 GMT on Thursday.
A prison spokesperson said an incident had occurred between two prisoners, resulting in one being taken to hospital. Police said the injuries were potentially life-threatening.
The arrested man remains in custody at the city's Thorpe Wood Police Station.
Peterborough Telegraph, which first reported the attack, said the prison off Saville Road had been placed on lockdown while the incident was ongoing.
