Roads will have speed limit reduced to 20mph

A number of 20mph speed limits have been introduced on roads in a town.
Hertfordshire County Council said a lower speed limit and traffic calming measures had been brought into parts of Stevenage, to reduce the potential for injury and to "create an environment to encourage more walking and cycling".
Jean Palmer, from the town, said she was all for it "if it's going to save lives".
The local authority said it consulted with Stevenage Borough Council, police, the ambulance service, fire and rescue, local residents and cycling groups before it came into force on Wednesday.

The council said it wanted to lower speeds where "people live, work, learn and shop" to help residents feel "safe and comfortable in the street environment" and be able to walk and cycle.
It added that roads included in the project had been picked based on "factors such as density of houses, pavement space, nearby schools and existing Air Quality Management areas".
There were mixed responses to the plans and one person told the BBC the speed limit would be "ignored" while another said only roads by schools needed a reduced limit.
Ms Palmer said: "I'm all for it, if it's going to save lives - I just don't see how it's going to be enforced."
She said the introduction of speed cameras could help.
